Brunton Theatre presents Sinbad The Pantomime Featuring The Little Mermaid, written and directed by Liam Rudden from November 20, 2009, to January 2, 2010.

When Crabsclaw, the evil sea witch attacks the peace loving Merfolk of Atlantis in search of the Pearl of Beauty, the Little Mermaid is forced to swim ashore for help. Washed up on Fisherrow Beach she is discovered by Sinbad the sailor. Together with Sinbad's mammy, Saucy Nancy and his wee brother Swishee, they set off on a quest to find the Great Neptune, the only being powerful enough to defeat the sea witch.

Sinbad The Pantomime Featuring The Little Mermaid was commissioned as part of The Brunton Theatre's 30th Anniversary celebrations.
